AGM/EGMs

Our AGM, which is relatively informal, usually takes place in early January, and Team Captains are encouraged to attend to participate in the democratic process.

The date, time & venue will be published on the website well in advance.

If necessary the Committee may call an EGM, perhaps immediately after dinner at the George Stuart Memorial, typically for dealing with some urgent business that can’t wait until the next AGM.

Rule changes can only be made through a General Meeting.  According to our current Rules “All notices of motion should be in writing and submitted to the Secretary at least six weeks before an AGM.”
